Roast the rava to light brown. Grind the rava along with black pepper, green chili once a blender (mixer)
In a blow add the rava, rice flour, maida flour, onion, ginger, cumin seeds, curry leaves, mint leaves, salt to taste, 4 cup of water and make a thick batter (like dosai batter).
Keep the batter for 20 minutes.
-- Making Dosai --
Heat the flat iron skillet or non-stick tawa pan well.
Pour a spoonful of batter in the center, spread with the back of the spoon to a thin round.
Once this side is cooked, flip over and cook until the dosai is cooked on the other side. Remove and serve the rava dosai.
