INGREDIENTS:

  1. Dosai batter - as needed
  2. Paneer - 2 cup
  3. Capsicum - 1
  4. Onion - 1
  5. Tomato - 1
  6. Green chili - 1
  7. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Cumin powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Unsalted butter - as needed
  12. Coriander leaf - little
  13. Mint leaf - little
  14. Ghee - as needed
  15. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Finely chop onion, tomato, green chili, Capsicum, coriander leaves, mint leaves.
  2. Grate the paneer.
  3. In a pan melt butter add onion, green chili, capsicum and sautae until they become soft. add tomato and sauté until they are mushy and oil start to separate.
  4. Now add turmeric powder, cumin seed powder, chili powder, garam masala powder and sauté until the raw smell is gone.
  5. No add shredded paneer, salt, coriander leaves, mint leaves and sauté until the oil seperates. Remove from heat.

  7. -- Making masala dosai --

  9. Heat dosai skillet and coat with ghee.
  10. Take a ladle of dosai batter and spread very thin around like a round sheet.
  11. Now sprinkle some ghee on the dosai and cook until the dosai becomes crispy.
  12. Now place paneer masala as needed, Place little butter on top of paneer masala if you like.
  13. Once dosai is cooked fold into 2 so the dosai covers the masala and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Goes well with coconut chutney
