INGREDIENTS:
- -- For Dosai --
- Dosai batter - as needed
- Sesame oil - as required.
- -- For Masala --
- Shredded Paneer (Cottage cheese) - 100 grams
- Finely chopped green bean - 20 count
- Finely chopped carrot - 2
- Finely chopped onion - 1 medium size
- Finely chopped tomato - 1/2 medium size
- Chili powder - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- Coriander leaves - handful
- Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - as needed.
PREPARATION:
- -- Masala preparation: --
- In a pan heat oil. add onion and sauté until the turn translucent.
- Now add tomato and sauté until they become mushy.
- Now add chopped green beans, carrot and sauté until they are cooked. (takes about 3 to 4 minutes)
- Now add chili powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and sauté until the raw smell is gone.
- Now add paneer, salt and sauté until the paneer is cooked. (takes about 3 to 4 minutes).
- Garnish with coriander leaves and remove from heat.
- -- Masala Dosai preparation: --
- Heat dosai iron skillet coated with oil.
- Pour 2 ladles of dosai batter and spread it thin so dosai will be nice and crispy. Sprinkle oil around the dosai and place a lid and cook for 1 minute or until the dosai turn golden brown.
- Now place some paneer masala in the middle of the dosai and spread it around.
- Now fold the dosai and serve.
- Make more dosai like this and serve.
NOTES:
- Serve dosai alone or with chutney or sambar.
