  1. Kambu (Pearl Millet) - 1/2 kilogram
  2. Mudakathan leaf - 2 hand full
  3. Fenugreek seed - 50 grams
  4. Coriander leaves - from 2 bunch
  5. Coriander leaf - little
  6. Chopped Shallot (Sambar onion) - 50 grams
  7. Chopped Green chili - 3
  8. Oil - as needed
  9. Salt - as needed


  1. Soak kambu (pearl millet), fenugreek seeds submerged in water for at least 2 hours.
  2. Grind mudakathan leaves, water as needed into fine thick paste.
  3. Grind soaked kambu (perl millet), fenugreek seeds, coriander leaves, curry leaves into to a dosai batter.
  4. Now add the ground mudakathan leaves paste to dosai batter, salt as needed, chopped onion, chopped green chili and beat well.
  5. Now make dosai with the batter and serve.

  9. Heat the flat iron skillet or non-stick tawa pan well.
  10. Pour a spoonful of batter in the center, spread with the back of the spoon to a thin round.
  11. Once this side is cooked, sprinkle oil around the dosai, flip it over and cook until the dosai is cooked on the other side.
