INGREDIENTS:
- Chopped chicken - 1 whole
- Yogurt - 1 cup
- Ghee - 100 grams
- Dry chili - 5
- Cashew - 10
- Poppy seed - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Chopped Onion - 1
- Garlic - 7 cloves
- Ginger - small piece
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Roast the chicken pieces in little ghee until brown and keep them aside. NOTE: make sure you don't burn the chicken pieces.
- Sauté onion in little ghee. To onion add dry chili, cashew, poppy seed, ginger, garlic into a fine thick paste.
- In pan heat the rest of the ghee. Now add the ground paste and sauté in low heat.
- Now add the roasted chicken piece, salt, water if needed and cook. Once the chicken is cooked 3/4 the add the yogurt and cook until the chicken is cooked tender and serve.
NOTES:
- Keep an eye on the heat and adjust high or low for good result. Don't burn the curry.
