INGREDIENTS:
- Boneless chicken pieces - 3/4 kilogram
- Finely chopped Onion - 1
- Korean rice cake - 15
- Korean chili paste or chili paste - 4 teaspoon (tsp.) or as needed.
- Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Coarsely ground Peanut - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Perilla leaf - 10
- Finely chopped Spring onion - 1
- Thinly sliced Cabbage - 1/2 kilogram
PREPARATION:
- Add onion, spring onion, peanut, ginger paste, garlic paste, chili paste to chicken. Mix well and marinate for 1 hour.
- Coat a iron skillet with oil then place thinly sliced cabbage. Over the cabbage place the chicken, rice cake, perilla leaf and cook for 25 minutes. Every 5 minutes are so mix them well to prevent burning. NOTE: once the dish is cooked the cabbage will become crunchy and the chicken will be cooked well.
- Now serve.
NOTES:
- This dish is called Dak Galbi in Korean. You can mix this with rice and serve as well.
- Serves 4 people
