INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken - 1/2 kilogram
- Tomato - 3
- Onion - 1
- Ginger paste - 1 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garlic paste - 1 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Curry masala powder - 1/4 cup.
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Coriander powder - 1/4 cup
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Grated coconut - 3/4 cup
- Yogurt or Curd - 1/2 cup
- Green chili - 5
- Cashew - 5
- Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
- Mint leaves - 1/4 cup
- Oil - 1/4 cup
- Salt - 1 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
PREPARATION:
- Thinly slice onion.
- Cut tomato into fine pieces.
- Slit green chili into 2 pieces.
- Grind coconut, cashews into fine paste by adding little water as possible.
- Heat oil in a pan, add onion and until it turn golden brown.
- Now add tomato and cook until oil separates.
- Now add green chili, coriander leaves, mint leaves and cook for 2 - 3 minutes.
- Now add ginger paste, garlic paste cook for 1- 2 minutes.
- Now add chili powder, turmeric powder, mix well and cook.
- Now add the chicken and mix well.
- Now add curry masala powder, yogurt or curd, salt to taste, coriander powder, 2 cup of water and bring to boil. Cook for 10 minutes.
- Now add the ground coconut and cook until chicken is cooked well. Once the right consistency is reached. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
