INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken - 1/2 kilogram
- Garlic - 15 cloves
- Black pepper - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Onion - 2
- Turmeric powder - a pinch
- -- For Tempering --
- Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Split bengal gram - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Curry leaf - 5
- Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Slice the onion into fine pieces.
- Chop garlic in to small pieces.
- Crush the black pepper to coarse powder.
- Boil and cook the chicken by adding turmeric powder, salt to taste. NOTE: avoid adding water as much as possible if you still need water add 1/4 cup of water.
- In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seed, curry leaf, split bengal gram; once the mustard seed stop splattering add garlic, onion and cook until onion turns translucent (golden brown).
- Now add the black pepper powder sauté for a minute.
- Now add the cooked chicken and cook until oil separates and serve.
NOTES:
- If your need more spicy add chili powder as needed
