INGREDIENTS:

  1. Boneless chicken - 1/4 kilogram
  2. Maida flour - 1 cup
  3. Egg - 2
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Cumin powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Chili powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.) or as needed
  8. Oil - to deep fry
  9. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut the chicken into thin long strips.
  2. Break the egg in a bowl. Add salt, chili powder and beat them well.
  3. In bowl add maida flour, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, cumin powder, salt and mix them well. (Sifting them will mix all the ingredients well)
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan. Dip the chicken piece in egg then drop into the maida flour (tap the excess flour off) then deep fry them golden brown and serve. Do the same for rest of the pieces.

NOTES:

  1. Remove excess oil before you serve them.
  2. Frying in batches will keep the oil temperature high and will yield better result.
