INGREDIENTS:
- Boneless chicken meat - 1/2 kg or 1 lb
- Unsalted butter - 75 grams or 3/4 butter stick
- Hot chilly powder - 2 table spoon
- Ginger paste - 1 table spoon
- Garlic paste - 1 table spoon
- Big onion - 1
- Big ripe tomatoes - 2
- Cashew (optional) - 10
- Yogurt or Curd - 2 table spoon
- Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
- Green cardamom - 2
- Cloves - 2
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Cut the boneless chicken into 1 inch cubes
- In a bowl marinate (mix) the chicken with yogurt, ginger paste, garlic paste, salt for 1 hour
- Skin the tomatoes after dipping them into boiling hot water for few seconds
- Heat a pan add a small portion for butter, when melted add the onions, cashew and fry them until onion become golden brown
- In a blender, add the skinned tomatoes, fried onions and cashews and grind them to a fine paste
- In a pan add rest of the butter when almost melted add crushed green cardamom, cinnamon stick and cloves
- after 2-3 min add the boneless chicken cubes and cook for 5 min ( stir while cooking), then add the (onions, cashew and tomato) grinded paste
- Add water if necessary and cook until the meat is done and the thinness you like.
