INGREDIENTS:
- Chicken pieces - 1 kilogram
- Chopped onion - 1
- Slit green chili - 5
- Mustard seed, split black gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Oil - 4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Curry leaf - 10 count
- Coriander leaves - for garnish

- -- To Marinate Chicken --
- ----------------------------------
- Onion paste - 1/4 cup (grinded onion)
- Chili powder - 4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Salt - as needed.
PREPARATION:
- In a bowl add the chicken and ingredients under the section "-- To Marinate Chicken --" and mix well. Marinate this for at least an hour.
- In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds. Once they stop splattering add green chili, chopped onion, curry leaves and sauté until the onion become translucent (golden brown).
- Now add marinated chicken and mix well. Place a lid and cook in medium heat by time to time stirring until the chicken is cooked. I.e. until oil separates
- Now garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
NOTES:
- Preparation time: 15 minute. Cooking Time: 15 minute
- No need to add water. Water released by the chicken is good enough to cook this dish. if you feel like burning add little water.
