INGREDIENTS:
- Coconut - 1
- Sugar - 1/2 kilogram
- Vanilla essence - 4 drop
- Butter - tablespoon (tbsp.)
PREPARATION:
- Shred the coconut pulp.
- Add 1/2 cup of water to sugar and bring to boil in a stove when single string consistency is reached. (refer to image below.
- Now add the shredded coconut and cook until bubble form. Now add the butter, vanilla essence and cook for 5 min (when the mixture separates from the pan easily)
- Remove to a butter coated pan, and make shapes to your preference and serve.
NOTES:
- Check for single string consistency
