INGREDIENTS:
- Black gram - 1 cup
- Rava - 1/4 cup
- Sour yogurt - 1/4 cup
- Bengal gram - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Onion - 1
- Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Ginger - 1/4 inch
- Cumin seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Green chili - 1
- Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cooking soda - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Curry leaf - 1 sprig
- Oil - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Finely chop onion, green chili, curry leaves.
- Soak black gram, bengal gram separately in water for an hour. After soaking for an hour grind them with ginger into a fine thick batter.
- Add to batter rava, yogurt, cumin seeds, onion, green chili, curry leaves, lemon juice, salt and mix well.
- Keep the batter aside for an hour. Now add baking soda, cooking soda and mix well.
- Coat a muffin tray with oil and fill the muffing mold with 3/4 of batter.
- Pre heat oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit and bake for 25 minutes then increase the oven heat to 425 degree Fahrenheit and bake for 10 more minutes and serve.
