INGREDIENTS:
- Barley - 1/2 cup
- Mixed Cut vegetables (Cauliflower , cabbage, green beans, hyacinth bean, peas) - 1 cup
- Black pepper powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Finely chopped onion - 1/4
- Corn flour - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Soak barley for 3 to 4 hours. In a pressure cooker add barley, vegetable and 3 to 4 cups of water and cook for 2 whistle. Keep it aside until pressure is released.
- In a pan heat oil add the cut onions and cook until it turns golden brown. Now add the cooked barley with water, salt to tastes, black pepper powder bring to boil.
- Add corn flour if you want the soup to be thick and serve.
