INGREDIENTS:
- Mutton pieces with bones - 500 grams
- Mutton fat - 100 grams
- Crushed Green chili - 4
- Coriander powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Tomato paste - from 1 tomato
- Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Chopped Curry leaf - 2 sprig
- Coriander leaf - a hand ful
- Sesame Oil - as needed
- Salt - as needed

- Shallot (Sambar onion) - 8
- Garlic - 8 clove
- Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Black Pepper - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
PREPARATION:
- Grind ingredients under the section "-- For masala paste--" into a fine thick paste by adding little water as possible.
- In pressure cooked add mutton, mutton fat, salt, turmeric powder, water as needed and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistle.
- Heat sesame oil in pan. add the ground masala and sauté until the raw smell is gone and oil starts to seperate.
- Now add the chopped curry leaves and sauté until the leaves are sautéed well.
- Now add the tomato paste and cook until it boils and raw smell is gone.
- Now add chili powder, coriander powder, crushed green chili, little salt and cook until the raw smell is gone and the green chili is cooked.
- Finally add the cooked mutton with the liquid and bring to boil. Once boiled well before removing from heat garnish with coriander leaf and serve.
NOTES:
- Goes well with white rice.
- You can drink this as soup as well.
