INGREDIENTS:
- Shredded yellow pumpkin - 1 cup
- Wheat flour - 1/2 cup
- Shredded Jaggery - 1/2 cup
- Crushed cardamom - 2
- Salt - a pinch
PREPARATION:
- In a pan add 3 tablespoon (tbsp.) of water, shredded Jaggery. Once the jaggery is melted bring to boil.
- Now add the shredded yellow pumpkin to the melted jaggery and cook until the pumpkin is cooked well. Once pumpkin cooked remove from heat.
- Now add the wheat flour, salt and make a dough like you do for puri and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
- Now make them into small balls (size of a lemon)
- Flatten these balls to a thin disc using roller pin
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350 F. Now deep fry the flattened dough until they turn golden brown and serve.

- Kid will love these.
