INGREDIENTS:
- Big mango - 2
- Jaggery - 400 grams
- Slit Green chili - 2
- Mustard seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
PREPARATION:
- De-seed and de-skin the mango and shredded into small pieces. Slit the green chili.
- Powder the jaggery. Add 1/2 cup of water and dissolve it. Boil the jaggery water until it starts to foams up. Now filter jaggery with strainer and keep it aside.
- Pressure cook or cook mango, green chili for 15 minutes.
- In a pan add cooked jaggery, cooked mango, green chili and bring to boil. Cook this for 7 minutes.
- In a pan heat oil. add mustard seeds once the mustard seeds stop splattering add this to boiling pachadi remove from stove and serve.
NOTES:
- If you like coconut add 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) of shredded coconut at the end.
