INGREDIENTS:
- Ladies finger (okra) - 10
- Yogurt - 3/4 cup
- -- To Grind --
- Shredded coconut - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Dry chili - 2
- Clove - 2
- -- For Tempering --
- Oil - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Dry chili -1
- Curry leaf - 6
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Chop the ladies finger (okra) into small pieces.
- Grind coarsely the ingredients under the section "-- To Grind --" without adding any water.
- Heat oil in a pan. add mustard seed, dry chili, curry leaves once the mustard stop splattering add the ladies finger (okra), salt as needed and sauté until they change color.
- Now add the ground powder and sauté for a minute. Cook the fried okra to room temperature.
- Add the cooled fried okra to the yogurt and mix well. Pachadi is ready to be served.
