INGREDIENTS:
- Raw papaya - 1
- Coconut - 2 wedges
- Green chili - 2
- Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Tamarind - a gooseberry size
- Finely chopped Onion - 1
- Dry chili - 4
- Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Coconut oil - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Salt - a needed
PREPARATION:
- Remove the skin and deseed the papaya and cut the pulp into small cubes.
- Grind coconut, green chili, turmeric powder into to fine thick paste. In a bowl cook them by adding water as needed, salt, turmeric powder.
- Soak tamarind in water and take thick juice.
- Once the papaya is cooked mash them well and add the ground coconut paste.
- Now add the tamarind juice and bring to boil.
- Once the raw smell is gone. In a separate pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry chili. Once mustard seed stop splattering add this to papaya curry mix well then remove from heat and serve.
