INGREDIENTS:
- Ripe mango - 1
- Shredded coconut - 3 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Dry chili - 3
- Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Yogurt or curd - 1 cup.
- Jaggery - teaspoon (tsp.)
- Salt - to taste
- -- For tempering--
- Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Mustard seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Cumin seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Fenugreek seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Dry chili - 1
- Curry leaf - 8
PREPARATION:
- Cut mango into big pieces.
- Grind coconut, 3 dry chili, garlic, cumin seed into a fine paste by adding little water as possible.
- In a pan heat oil, now add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, 1 broken dry chili, curry leaves, once the mustard seed stop splattering add the ground paste, turmeric powder, mango, Jaggery, salt to taste and bring to boil.
- Once the mango is cooked well, add the yogurt or curd mix well. Remove from heat and serve.
