INGREDIENTS:
- Thick butter milk - 3 cup
- Green chili - 3
- Asafoetida powder - a pinch
- Rice - 1/2 cup
- Shredded coconut - 1 cup
- Ginger - 1 inch
- Curry leaf - 4
- Coriander leaf - 10
- Salt - to taste
PREPARATION:
- Grind green chili, asafoetida powder, rice, coconut, ginger, curry leaf, coriander leaf by adding little butter milk.
- Now add the paste to butter milk, salt to taste and heat butter milk until it starts to boil.
- Heat oil in pan; add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaf once the mustard seeds stop splattering add this to heated butter milk; mix well.
- Now remove the butter milk kuzhambu from heat and serve.
NOTES:
- You can add cooked pumpkin or fried lady's finger to kuzhambu as well.
