INGREDIENTS:
- Agar agar (Chinese glass) - 50 grams
- Sugar - as needed (75 grams)
- Food color (optional) - a pinch
- Egg - 1
- Fresh thick coconut milk - 1/2 cup
- Vanilla essence - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
PREPARATION:
- Soak agar agar in 1/2 liter of water for 30 minutes.
- Beat egg and coconut milk well.
- Boil and cook the soaking agar agar until it dissolved. Now add the sugar and cook it until dissolved.
- Remove 3/4 of agar agar and drain all the liquid then add food coloring quickly and mix well.
- To the remaining boiling agar agar, add the coconut milk mixture and boil until curds form .
- Now add the filtered agar agar to the curds agar agar. Mix well and cool it down to room temperature.
- Now cut the cool down agar agar jelly into shapes you like.
- Place the agar agar jellies in refrigerator for 30 minutes or more and serve.
