INGREDIENTS:
- Capsicum - 1 big
- Gram flour - 1/2 cup
- Chili powder - 3/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Corn flour - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Finely Chopped Onion - 1
- Shredded Carrot - 1
- Finely Chopped Coriander leaf - little
- Oil - as needed.
- Salt - as needed
PREPARATION:
- Cut the capsicum into rings (i.e. like onion rings) by removing top and bottom part. Now remove the seeds inside the rings... Chop the top and bottom part into fine pieces.
- Now add finely chopped capsicum pieces, gram flour, chili powder, corn flour, onion, carrot, coriander leaf, salt in a bowl. Add water to this as needed and make a batter consistent to bajji batter.
- Heat flat iron skillet (dosai kalu). Now place the capsicum rings. Fill the ring inneer with batter and sprinkle oil around the capsicum ring.
- Once the bottom side is cooked (i.e. golden brown). Flip to other side and cook to golden brown and serve.
