INGREDIENTS:
- Whole milk - 1/2 liter
- Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
- Gram flour - 1 cup
- Freshly shredded coconut - 1 cup
- Rava - 1 cup
- Wheat or Maida flour - 1/2 cup
- Carrot - 2
- Cardamom - 3
- Ghee - 300 grams
- Cashew nut - little
PREPARATION:
- Boil the carrot in milk. Drain the milk and make carrot paste with them.
- Make milk kova from the milk.
- Dry roast coconut until they become golden brown
- In heat bottom pan add sugar, little water and make thick sugar syrup. Once the sugar syrup reach One-thread string consistency
- Now add wheat or maida flour, rava, gram flour and mix well without forming any lump or burning it.
- Now add the carrot paste, roasted coconut and mix well.
- Now add ghee, milk kova, crushed cardamom. Mix and cook until it becomes thick and soft (until ghee starts to separate).
- Transfer this to round flat pan by coating the bottom of the pan with ghee. Sprinkle with cashew nut. Once the cake cooled down serve.
