INGREDIENTS:
- Unsalted butter (room temperature) - 8 tablespoon (tbsp.)
- Sugar - 3/4 cup
- Egg (room temperature) - 2
- Maida flour - 1 cup
- Wheat flour - 1 cup
- Baking soda - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
- Ripped banana - 3
- Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon (tsp.) (optional)
- Coarsely chopped walnut or pecan - 1/2 cup (optional)
PREPARATION:
- Mash the banana.
- Beating butter and sugar until light and fluffy (like foam). Now add and egg and beat well.
- Sift maida flour, backing soda, salt to taste with a strainer or a sifter.
- Now add the wheat flour to the sift flour.
- Now add the flour mix to the beaten egg, mashed banana, vanilla essence, nuts (walnut or pecan) and make a batter.
- Heat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
- Coat the bread pan with butter. Pour the batter and back for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.
- Remove from oven cool down for 10 and serve the Banana bread.
