Cheese dosai recipe

Cheese dosai can be made at home as good as they make at Chennai restaurant or by street vendor. Let see how to make it. It might need some practice before you master it.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Dosai batter - 1 cup
  2. Finely chopped onion - 1
  3. Shredded carrot - 1
  4. Finely chopped capsicum - from 1/2 capsicum
  5. Tomato sauce - as needed
  6. Chopped Green chili - 1
  7. Chopped Coriander leaf - little
  8. Shredded Cheese - as needed
  9. Oil - as neede

PREPARATION:

  1. Heat dosai skillet and coat with oil. Now pour a ladle of batter and spread thin like you do for masala dosai.
  2. Reduce the heat. Now add onion, carrot, capsicum, green chili, coriander leaves and spread well so they spread well.
  3. Now sprinkle dosai with tomato sauce.  Now sprinkle water around the dosai.
  4. Now spread cheese over the dosai. Cover and cook this until dosai is cooked and then serve.
  5. Repeat and make cheese dosai with rest of the batter.

NOTES:

  1. Cook this in low heat other wise you will burn the dosai. Make sure the dosai is paper thin so it cooks well.
