INGREDIENTS:

  1. Dosai batter - 1 cup
  2. Finely shredded Carrot - 3
  3. Finely chopped Green beans - 5
  4. Finely shredded Cabbage - 1/2 cup
  5. Finely chopped Onion - 1
  6. Coriander leaf - 10
  7. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Garam masala - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Oil - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Salt - to taste.

PREPARATION:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed when it start to splatter add onion and cook until it turns golden brown.
  2. Now add the green bean when half cooked add carrot, cabbage and cook. when vegetables are half cooked add garam masala and salt to taste. Cook this until vegetables are done and keep it aside.
  3. -- Making Uttapam --
    1. Heat the iron griddle or non-stick tawa well.
    2. Pour a spoonful of batter in the center, spread with the back of the spoon to a thin round.
    3. Spread the vegetable mixture on the top. When cook one side.
    4. Flip and cook and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Good go with chutney or sambar.
