Mudakathan keerai (balloon vine) soup recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Mudakathan Keerai (balloon vine) - 1/2 cup
  2. Shallots (chinna vengayam) - 4
  3. Tomato - 1
  4. Garlic - 6 cloves
  5. Rasam powder - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tablespoon (tbsp)
  7. Salt - to taste
  8. Oil - 2 table spoon

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut tomatoes, shallots, garlic into fine pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add the onion, garlic and cook until they turn golden brown.
  3. Now add the tomatoes and cook until oil separates. add the Mudakathan Keerai and cook for 2-3 min.
  4. Now add the rasam powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste. cook for 1 min.
  5. Now add 2 cups of water bring to boil and serve.
