INGREDIENTS:

  1. Basmati rice - 2 cup
  2. -- Vegetables --
    1. Finely chopped cabbage - 1 cup
    2. Finely chopped onion - 1
    3. Finely chopped green beans - 2
    4. Finely chopped carrot - 1 small
    5. Green pea - 1 cup
    6. Finely chopped capsicum - 1 cup
    7. Finely chopped spring onion - 3
  3. Soy sauce - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Split green chili - 3
  7. Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Clove - 1
  9. Ghee or oil - 3 tablespoon (tsp.)
  10. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Cook basmati rice in 4 cup of water in a pressure cooker or in a pan.
  2. In a pan heat oil or ghee; now add mustard seeds once it stop spattering add clove, green chili, onion, ginger paste, garlic paste and sauté until the onion turn golden brown and raw smell of ginger garlic paste is gone.
  3. Now add green beans, carrot, spring onion, green peas, capsicum, cabbage and salt to taste; sauté and cook until they are cooked half.
  4. Now add soy sauce and sauté for couple of minutes. Finally add the cooked rice and sauté for couple of minutes and serve.

NOTES:

  1. You can add 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.) of monosodium glutamate (MSG) also know as Ajinomoto
  2. Goes well with tomato ketchup
