INGREDIENTS:

  1. Lemon - 2
  2. Peanut (no skin) - 50 grams
  3. Cooked Rice - as needed ( 2 to 3 cup)
  4. Mustard seed - little
  5. Split black gram - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Split bengal gram - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Asafoetida powder -1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Dry chili - 2 or to your spice preference
  9. Turmeric - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Oil - 1 ladle
  11. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Squeeze the lemons and get the juice.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds; once they stop splattering. Add black gram, bengal gram, asafoetida powder, pea nuts, dry chili, turmeric powder and sauté until the nuts and grams are roasted golden brown.
  3. Now add the lemon juice from lemons, salt and cook until the oil separates or the thickness of your preference.
  4. Now add this to cooked rice mix well and serve.
