INGREDIENTS:

  1. Cooked rice - 2 cup
  2. Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  3. Split Bengal gram - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
  4. Split black gram - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
  5. Asafoetida powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  6. Black pepper - 3
  7. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
  8. Lemon juice - 3 lemons
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. Oil - 1/4 cup

PREPARATION:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed, Split Bengal gram ,Split black gram , black pepper and cook until the mustard seed star to splatter.
  2. Now add the asafoetida powder, Turmeric powder and cook for 1 min. i.e make sure you don't burn.
  3. Now add the lemon juice and salt to taste.
  4. Now cook this mixture until oil starts to separates.
  5. Now add the cooked rice, mix and coat well and cook for 1 or 2 min.
  6. Remove and serve.
