Aloo methi rice recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Cooked rice - 4 cup
  2. Chopped fenugreek leaves - 2 cup
  3. Chopped boiled potato - 3
  4. Finely chopped onion - 1
  5. Slit green chili - 2
  6. Finely chopped tomato - 1
  7. Chili powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Ginger, garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Unsalted butter - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  12. Coriander leaf- little
  13. Oil - 4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  14. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Heat oil, butter in a pan. Now add onion, green chili and sauté until the onion turns translucent (golden brown).
  2. Now add tomato, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt as need and sauté until oil separates.
  3. Now add the fenugreek leaves and cook until they are sautéed.
  4. Now add chili powder, garam masala and sauté until oil separates or until its dry.
  5. Now add the boiled potato and cook until the potato is well coated.
  6. Now add the cooked rice and mix well until the rice is coated well then garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
