INGREDIENTS:

  1. Rice flour - 1 1/2 cup
  2. Shredded coconut - 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar - to taste
  4. Cardamom - 2

PREPARATION:

  1. Add salt into the flour and mix well. Now add little by little warm water and mix well.
  2. Make sure you don't add lot of water (when you steam the water will pass through the dough and some will be observed) and the flour is wet enough.
  3. The flour will be like the shredded coconut consistency. With the help of puttu make steam 2-3 min the raw puttu and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Make layers when you stuff the puttu maker, like say shredded coconut, wet rice flour.
