Sri lanka cabbage fry recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Cabbage - 500 grams
  2. Onion - 50 grams
  3. Green chili - 3
  4. Grated coconut - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Garlic - 2 cloves
  6. Fennel seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Curry leaf - 5
  10. Oil - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Salt - to taste.

PREPARATION:

  1. Finely chop cabbage, add turmeric powder mix well and keep it aside.
  2. Finely chop onion, garlic, green chili.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add fennel seed, onion, garlic, curry leaves and cook until onion turn golden brown.
  4. Now add the cabbage and cook until it turns brown and cooked. Should take 5 to 8 minutes
  5. Now add the chopped chili, pepper powder. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.
  6. Now add the grated coconut. Mix well and serve.
