INGREDIENTS:

  1. Plantain - 1
  2. Chili powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Coriander powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Yogurt or curd - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Cumin seed powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Lemon juice - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Corn flour - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Roasted gram flour - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. De-skin the plantain and cook in water for 5 minutes.
  2. Now cut the plantain into 1/2 inch thick round flat pieces.
  3. Make a thick paste by mixing coriander powder, corn flour, roasted gram flour, chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seed powder, yogurt or cured, lemon juice and salt.
  4. Now marinate the cooked plantain by applying the paste for 10 minutes.
  5. Pan fry the marinated plantains in batches until they turns golden brown and serve.
