Lettuce poriyal recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Lettuce - 20 leaves
  2. Finely chopped onion - 1
  3. Finely chopped green chili - 2
  4. Split bengal gram - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  5. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Oil - as needed
  7. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Chop the lettuce into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Now add mustard seeds once the mustard seeds stop splattering add the bengal gram and sauté until the gram turn golden brown.
  3. Now add the onion, green chili and sauté until the onion turns translucent (golden brown).
  4. Now add the lettuce, salt and sauté until all the moisture (all the liquid evaporated) is gone and serve.
