INGREDIENTS:

  1. Chopped Capsicum - 3
  2. Finely chopped Onion - 1
  3. Roasted gram - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Salt - as required.
  7. -- For tempering--
    1. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
    2. Curry leaf - from 1 sprig
    3. Split black gram - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
    4. Oil - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Finely powder the roasted gram .
  2. In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seeds, curry leaves, split black gram. Once the mustard seeds stop splattering add onion and sauté until they turn translucent (golden brown).
  3. Now add chili powder, turmeric powder and mix well.
  4. Now add capsicum, salt and sauté for 5 minutes or until its cooked. Once the capsicum is cooked add the roasted gram powder mix well and then serve.
