INGREDIENTS:

  1. Split bengal gram - a handful
  2. Split black gram - a handful
  3. Par boiled rice - 1/2 handful
  4. Fennel seed - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  5. Cumin seed - 1/2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  6. Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Cinnamon stick - 1 1/2 inch
  8. Clove - 5
  9. Cardamom - 5

PREPARATION:

  1. Dry roast split bengal gram, split black gram to golden brown and cool them to room temperature.
  2. Then dry roast fennel seeds, cumin seeds, black pepper, cinnamon stick, clove to brown and cool them to room temperature.
  3. Now grind all the ingredients into a fine powder.

NOTES:

  1. This powder is used for chicken, mutton, egg korma recipes
