Sweet mango pachadi recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Big mango - 2
  2. Jaggery - 400 grams
  3. Slit Green chili - 2
  4. Mustard seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. De-seed and de-skin the mango and shredded into small pieces. Slit the green chili.
  2. Powder the jaggery. Add 1/2 cup of water and dissolve it. Boil the jaggery water until it starts to foams up. Now filter jaggery with strainer and keep it aside.
  3. Pressure cook or cook mango, green chili for 15 minutes.
  4. In a pan add cooked jaggery, cooked mango, green chili and bring to boil. Cook this for 7 minutes.
  5. In a pan heat oil. add mustard seeds once the mustard seeds stop splattering add this to boiling pachadi remove from stove and serve.

NOTES:

  1. If you like coconut add 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) of shredded coconut at the end.
