INGREDIENTS:

  1. Ladies finger - 1/2 kilogram
  2. Shredded coconut - 1/2 cup
  3. Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Dry chili - 5
  5. Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Asafoetida powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Oil - 3 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  8. Salt - as needed.

PREPARATION:

  1. Chop ladies finger into small pieces.
  2. Grind coconut, cumin seeds, dry chili, salt as needed by adding 2 tablespoon (tbsp.) water into a paste.
  3. In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds once it stop splattering add asafoetida, ladies finger and sauté for 2 minutes.
  4. Place a lid and cook for 10 minutes stirring time to time to avoid burning.
  5. Now add the ground coconut and mix well. Add 3 tablespoon (tbsp.) of water and sauté for 3 to 4 minutes and serve.
