INGREDIENTS:

  1. Yogurt - 1 cup
  2. Ladies finger - 150 grams
  3. Shredded fresh coconut - 1/2 cup
  4. Cumin seed - 3/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Green chili - 4
  7. Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Curry leaf - little
  9. Oil - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Beat yogurt in mixer or a whipped.
  2. Grind coconut, green chili, half of cumin seeds, turmeric into a fine thick paste by adding little water as possible.
  3. In pan heat oil. Now add mustard seeds once they stop splattering add ladies finger, now add rest of cumin seeds, curry leaves, ground coconut paste, 1 cup of water and cook. When this start to boil add the yogurt and cook this in low heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until the ladies finger is cooked and then serve.

NOTES:

  1. Serve this with white rice.
