INGREDIENTS:

  1. Thick coconut milk - 1  cup
  2. Light coconut milk - 2 cup
  3. Onion - 2
  4. Tomato - 2
  5. Green chili - 4
  6. Garlic - 4 cloves
  7. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Curry leaves - 5

PREPARATION:

  1. Thinly slice onion, tomatoes.
  2. Slit the green chili vertically.
  3. Chop garlic.
  4. Add onion, tomato, green chili, garlic, turmeric to the light coconut milk. Boil the light coconut milk boil it well until onion, garlic becomes soft.
  5. Now add the thick coconut milk, stir continuously and cook.  Once the sodhi foams at the top add salt, curry leaves, mix well and remove from stove.
  6. Serve hot with iddiyappam or steamed rice.

NOTES:

  1. Thick coconut milk - Grind 1/2 coconut with 1 cup of water and squeeze the milk.
  2. Light coconut milk - once thick milk is extracted add 2 cup of water and squeeze the light milk.
