Raw papaya curry recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Raw papaya - 1
  2. Coconut - 2 wedges
  3. Green chili - 2
  4. Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Tamarind - a gooseberry size
  6. Finely chopped Onion - 1
  7. Dry chili - 4
  8. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Coconut oil - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Salt - a needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Remove the skin and deseed the papaya and cut the pulp into small cubes.
  2. Grind coconut, green chili, turmeric powder into to fine thick paste. In a bowl cook them by adding water as needed, salt, turmeric powder.
  3. Soak tamarind in water and take thick juice.
  4. Once the papaya is cooked mash them well and add the ground coconut paste.
  5. Now add the tamarind juice and bring to boil.
  6. Once the raw smell is gone. In a separate pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaves, dry chili. Once mustard seed stop splattering add this to papaya curry mix well then remove from heat and serve.
