Mango pulissery curry recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Ripe mango - 1
  2. Shredded coconut - 3 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  3. Dry chili - 3
  4. Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Garlic - 3 cloves
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Yogurt or curd - 1 cup.
  8. Jaggery - teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Salt - to taste
  10. -- For tempering--
    1. Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
    2. Mustard seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
    3. Cumin seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
    4. Fenugreek seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
    5. Dry chili - 1
    6. Curry leaf - 8

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut mango into big pieces.
  2. Grind coconut, 3 dry chili, garlic, cumin seed into a fine paste by adding little water as possible.
  3. In a pan heat oil, now add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, 1 broken dry chili, curry leaves, once the mustard seed stop splattering add the ground paste, turmeric powder, mango, Jaggery, salt to taste and bring to boil.
  4. Once the mango is cooked well, add the yogurt or curd mix well. Remove from heat and serve.
