Butter milk kuzhambu recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Thick butter milk - 3 cup
  2. Green chili - 3
  3. Asafoetida powder - a pinch
  4. Rice - 1/2 cup
  5. Shredded coconut - 1 cup
  6. Ginger - 1 inch
  7. Curry leaf - 4
  8. Coriander leaf - 10
  9. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Grind green chili, asafoetida powder, rice, coconut, ginger, curry leaf, coriander leaf by adding little butter milk.
  2. Now add the paste to butter milk, salt to taste and heat butter milk until it starts to boil.
  3. Heat oil in pan; add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, curry leaf once the mustard seeds stop splattering add this to heated butter milk; mix well.
  4. Now remove the butter milk kuzhambu from heat and serve.

NOTES:

  1. You can add cooked pumpkin or fried lady's finger to kuzhambu as well.
