Cauliflower korma recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Chopped Cauliflower - 1 cup
  2. Chopped potato - 1/4 cup
  3. Green pea - 1/4 cup
  4. Chopped onion - 1 1/2 cup
  5. Chopped tomato - 1 1/2 cup
  6. Chopped garlic - 3 cloves
  7. Chopped Ginger - 1 inch
  8. Dry chili - 7
  9. Coriander leaf - a handful
  10. Cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Oil - as needed
  12. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Cook potato, cauliflower, pea in a pan by adding little water as possible.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Sauté garlic, onion, dry chili. Once the onion turn translucent add ginger, tomato and sauté until tomato becomes mushy. Cool this to room temperature and grind into a thick paste by adding little water as possible.
  3. In a pan heat oil. add cumin seeds. once the cumin seeds stop splattering add coriander leaf. Once the coriander leaf sautéed add the ground paste, salt, water if needed. Bring this to boil.
  4. Now add the cooked vegetables (cauliflower, potato, pea) and continue cooking until oil starts to separates and serve.
