INGREDIENTS:

  1. -- Any vegetable below --
    1. Chopped Brinjal - 200 grams OR
    2. Chopped Bottle gourd - 200 grams OR
    3. Chopped Green bean - 200 grams OR
    4. Chopped Snake gourd - 200 grams OR
    5. Chopped Broad bean - 200 grams OR
    6. Chopped Pumpkin - 200 grams OR
    7. Chopped Cluster bean - 200 grams
  2. Cooked Split bengal gram - 100 grams
  3. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Shredded coconut - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  5. Arachuvitta sambar powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.) or as needed
  6. -- For Tempering --
    1. Oil - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
    2. Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
    3. Split black gram - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
    4. Curry leaf - 5
  7. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Cook the vegetable by adding salt and turmeric powder. Once the vegetable is cooked add the cooked bengal gram.
  2. Now add Arachuvitta Sambar Powder and cook for 2 more minutes.
  3. Now add the shredded coconut and cook for 1 minutes and remove from stove.
  4. In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, black gram, curry leaves.  Once the mustard seeds stop splattering add the cooked vegetable mix well and serve.
