INGREDIENTS:

  1. Quinoa - 3 cup
  2. Idli rice - 1 cup
  3. Black gram - 1 1/2 cup
  4. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Soak quinoa in water for 4 hours.
  2. Soak idli rice in water for 4 hours
  3. Soak black gram in water for 2 hours.
  4. In a wet grinder grind soaked black gram in to batter by adding water as needed. Black gram should be ground to butter consistency.
  5. Now grind quinoa, idli rice together to a thick fine batter.
  6. Mix the rice, black gram batter, salt and leave it to ferment for 8 hours.
  7. Once the batter is fermented make idli out of them and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Soak quinoa, idli rice, black gram separately.
  2. Idli rice is optional as well.
