Coriander idli(idly) recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Idli(idly) dough - 4 cup
  2. Coriander leaves - 1 bunch
  3. Coconut - 1 cup
  4. Green chili peppers - 6
  5. Tamarind paste - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  6. Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  7. Oil (olive or peanut) - 2 teaspoon (tsp)
  8. Ghee - 1 tablespoon (tbsp)
  9. Salt - for taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Stream and make small idli(idly) with the dough. Separate the coriander leaves and set aside.
  2. In a pan heat the oil and add coconut, tamarind paste, green chili peppers and salt to taste. Stir and cook for 10-15 min in medium heat then cool it to room temperature. Once cooled down and grid it to a paste by adding water.
  3. Heat a pan and add the green chili and add mustard seed once it stop splattering.
  4. Now add the paste and the idli(idly) and cook for 2-3 min.
  5. NOTE: If you need more ghee just add as required.

NOTES:

  1. preparation time : 15 - 20 min if you have the idli(idly) ready
