INGREDIENTS:

  1. Rava - 3/4 cup
  2. Maida flour - 1/4 cup
  3. Rice flour - 1 cup
  4. Finely chopped Onion - 1
  5. Finely chopped green chili - 4
  6. Shredded carrot - 1 small
  7. Coarsely ground cumin seed - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Coarsely ground black pepper - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Coriander leaves - as needed (10 leaves)
  10. Oil - as needed
  11. Salt - to taste.

PREPARATION:

  1. Mix rava, maida four, rice flour, onion, green chili, shredded carrot, coriander leaves, cumin, black pepper, salt as needed. Add water as needed and make dosai batter.
  2. -- Making Dosai --
    1. Heat the flat iron skillet or non-stick tawa pan well.
    2. Pour a spoonful of batter in the center, spread with the back of the spoon to a thin round.
    3. Once this side is cooked, flip over and cook until the dosai is cooked on the other side. Remove and serve
